Dear Friend of UNC Cross Country,

The ACC Meet is right around the corner. November 1, 2008.
I just make sure those of you who were planning to attend had the details.

Below is the official ACC link for the meet with directions etc,
http://www.theacc.com/sports/c-xc/08-xc-championship.html
One note about the directions they take you to the Golf Course Club House.
The start finish area is actually at Finley Fields (on your left as you come in on Mason Farm Road or if you come in on Finley Golf Course Road continue on around the corner an it will be on your right in about half a mile).

Start times are 10:00 AM for the Women's 6K and 11:00 AM for Men's 8K.
Please plan to arrive early as parking may be tight and you may have a little hike.

We will be hosting a barbeque for alumni, parents, and the team at the conclusion of the meet,1:00 P.M. at the course. In order to attend you either need to be a 2008-2009 member of the Spike Shoe Track Club or you will be asked to pay $8.00 per head. If you are not a member of Spike Shoe please see attached membership form. Please note this is an NCAA rules requirement. Parent's of competing athletes need to keep this in mind as it would be an extra benefit (and there for no allowed under NCAA Rules). It is allowable if you are a member of the Spike Shoe Booster group, again the there is also the option of paying per person. We will offer a number of similar opportunities during track season so membership (Form) does have its privileges.

If you are planing to attend the post race meal please shoot me an email or call to RSVP so we can have adequate food prepared.Allden@uncaa.unc.edu or 919-962-5195
